We’ll pick you up from your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter, or from an agreed meeting point, and begin the journey to Cat Ba Island via the Hanoi–Hai Phong Expressway and Cat Hai Bridge.
Arrive on Cat Ba Island and enjoy some time to relax before the afternoon adventure.
Lunch is not included, so please arrange your own meal before the tour begins.
Meet our team at the office for check-in and preparation. Your guide will explain the itinerary and provide any necessary information before departure.
Board the boat at Beo Wharf and cruise into the beautiful waters of Lan Ha Bay. Pass Cai Beo Floating Village, where floating homes and fish farms offer a glimpse into local life, while limestone cliffs rise dramatically from the sea.
Receive your kayaking equipment and a safety briefing from your guide before setting off.
Paddle between limestone islands, explore sheltered lagoons and peaceful waterways, and discover quiet corners of the bay. Take your time to enjoy the scenery and stop for photographs along the way.
The kayaking route will be selected according to the tides, weather, and sea conditions.

As the afternoon turns to evening, relax on board and watch the sunset over Lan Ha Bay. On clear days, the sky and limestone islands are illuminated with beautiful golden colors, creating a memorable end to the daytime adventure.

Enjoy a seafood dinner on a floating house or boat, surrounded by the peaceful waters of Lan Ha Bay and the lights of nearby fishing boats.
After dark, join your guide for a special night kayaking experience in search of bioluminescent plankton.
When conditions are favorable, tiny organisms in the water can produce flashes of blue-green light as your paddle moves through the sea. Watch for sparkling trails around your kayak and ripples in the darkness.
If conditions are suitable and your guide considers it safe, you may also have the opportunity to enter the water and experience the glow up close.
Bioluminescence is a natural phenomenon, so sightings and brightness cannot be guaranteed. Visibility depends on plankton activity, moonlight, rainfall, and water conditions. The glow is often subtle and may differ from photographs.
Return by boat to Beo Wharf and transfer back to Cat Ba town, arriving at the office at approximately 21:00.
Begin the return journey to Hanoi. The expected arrival time will depend on traffic and road conditions.
